Hilton yesterday started a “Free Nights Faster” promotion that doesn’t, unlike what the title implies, try to get you to stay more often at their hotels, but rather to apply for one of the three cobranded Amex cards, Aspire excluded.
The usual sign-up bonus points offers are sweetened with a free night certificate after reaching a specific spend within three months of the approval date.
You can access Hilton’s page for cobranded cards here.

Conclusion
These cards make sense for those who stay at Hilton-affiliated hotels but wouldn’t get me to swipe them at other retail outlets.
You have to keep in mind that Hilton Honors points are worth somewhere around .3 to .5 cents each when used towards hotel awards. However, there are a few specific cases when they are worth more. I usually spell these cases out when Hilton sells their Honors points at a bonus, like the most expensive Conrad and Waldorf Astoria hotels.
Faster Free Nights (old Hyatt promotion) or Free Nights Faster (new Hilton’s Amex offer)? I wonder who at the Hilton/Amex decided to “borrow” the tag line from Hyatt?
