Several readers have been in touch to find out what is going on with IHG, which appears to be struggling to update member tiers for 2023 and post rollover nights from 2022.
Readers are encouraged to send us questions, comments, or opinions by email, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. We’ll try to cover them here several times a week.

Just wondering if you have seen other with the same problems, its now late feb and IHG still hasn’t rolled over status from last year, not just for me but a number of colleges too
Seems like a poor way to treat their Diamond Members

I haven’t seen this mentioned so just wondering if you’ve heard of this – IHG not updating status from 2022. I still show Diamond Elite until 12/31/22 and it’s already 2/2/23.
IHG One Rewards went through a refresh in 2022, and IHG was hacked, which took down the systems for days.
The Food & Beverage rewards have significantly been delayed, and existing certificates have been extended through the end of 2023.
IHG One Rewards Milestone Rewards “Annual Lounge Membership” Now Valid Through December 31, 2024
There was a note on an IHG email last week that they may get the status and rollover nights counted by the end of March:
The entire counting and rollover nights for me are a moot point because I renewed my Ambassador status in January that automatically renewed the Diamond through the end of 2024:

I also chose the 70 nights Milestone Rewards in January that assured that the Lounge Pass (club lounge access) is valid through December 31, 2024 (essentially for two years).

Conclusion
I have been a massive proponent of the IHG One Rewards refresh that took place last year.
IHG’s program is finally competitive with the likes of Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt if you reach the Diamond status and stay at least 40 nights to get breakfast (status benefit) and lounge access (milestone choice).
Unfortunately, the actual implementation has not gone as smoothly as the launch. For example, the Food and Beverage rewards cannot be mostly used, the confirmed Suite Upgrade certificates still cannot be applied for award nights, and member tiers and rollover nights haven’t been updated for 2023.
I am sure that IHG eventually gets there and resolves these issues, but shouldn’t they have prepared the implementation of these promises and benefits better, and why no one takes ownership of these issues?
