IHG Rewards last week updated its status expiry extension through the end of 2022 (read more here) and has today rolled out other extensions.
Royal Ambassador and Kimpton Inner Circle tiers have been extended through the end of 2022. Points expiry is waived by additional 12 months through the end of 2022. Annual free night certificates from co-branded credit cards issued in 2021 can be used through December 31, 2022.

Status Extensions
As previously reported, IHG Rewards Gold, Platinum, and Spire Elite tiers have been extended through February 2023.
Royal Ambassador & Kimpton Inner Circle
IHG has now communicated that these invitation-only tiers have been extended until December 31, 2022.
Points Expiry
IHG has further extended the points expiry waiver through the end of 2022.
Credit Card Anniversary Night Certificates
Only certificates issued in 2021 can be used until December 31, 2022.
Rollover Nights
IHG will roll over all nights earned in 2021 above the tier threshold to 2022. Nights rolled over from 2020 to 2021 won’t roll over for the second time to 2022 per this policy,

Conclusion
IHG Rewards, like almost all other loyalty programs, has now extended elite tiers by an additional year and waives the points expiry. However, it is still somewhat unclear if IHG continuous to have lowered qualification criteria for its elite levels in 2022.
